Meetu choudhary is again MVP
Meetu Choudhary is Now MVP........ Meetu Choudhary is a single Female MVP from South Asia during this quarter and First MVP resident from Rajasthan.
The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award is an annual award that is given to outstanding members of Microsoft's technical communities, and that is based on contributions made during the previous year to offline and online technical communities. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts that represents the technical community's best and brightest, and they share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others.
MVPs represent a broad spectrum of Microsoft product users. They occupy many different professions including accountants, teachers, artists, engineers and technologists. MVPs reside in over 90 countries, represent 30 different languages, and cover more than 90 Microsoft technologies. Each year, the technical community's best and brightest are awarded as Microsoft MVPs.
Outstanding technical community members are nominated by their peers, Microsoft employees, and MVPs. Each year a panel of Microsoft employees reviews the contributions of each nominee for quality, quantity, and level of impact on the technical community.
As part of the award, MVPs receive a thank you gift, an MVP certificate, and a variety of resources to help them make the most of their experience as a Microsoft MVP.
This time the Award was given to Ms.Meetu Choudhary,MCTS,MCPD of Jaipur. Meetu Choudhary is a software professional with a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer. She has been doing software development over 4 years. Meetu started her community as a Co-founder and webmaster ofhttp://www.msdotnetheaven.com/forums/index.php and http://www.msdotnetmentor.com to establish free IT education especially Microsoft Technology.
Meetu is known to the .NET Community through her .Net articles and other stuffs at http://www.dotnetspider.com, free I.T education websites http://www.msdotnetheaven.com andhttp://www.msdotnetmentor.com . As the journey is just started so, Meetu decided to expand the online .Net community in its high level so, she attached withhttp://www.dotnetspider.com as a Site Co-ordinator.
Meetu is a graduate in B.sc. IT&M before she did her Masters in Computers. She loves to help others. She started the community activities several years back with the aim of helping poor students and graduates to learn programming skills. She switched to internet based training and joined a website called dotnetspider.com. "dotnetspider" is an online .NET tutorials and guide for the latest Microsoft technologies, aimed to help new graduates acquire programming skills and learn the best programming practices. Dotnetspider.com is founded by Tony John to gather a good and quality IT professionals under one roof. This is the community sharing Technical views. Several Microsoft MVPs are directly or indirectly involved in this community offering their guidance.
When Meetu joined as a member of DotNetSpider website, she wasn’t aware of the MVP recognition. But she started becoming popular among .NET communities by her contributions in DotNetSpider and was selected as Editor of DotNetSpider website. Then she became Senior Editor and now she is the site coordinator of DotNetSpider. The founder of this website Mr. Tony John referred Meetu to this prestigious MVP Award and Meetu was selected for the award.

Maitreyee Sarcar HF FRSA: A legend who is not a classical musician yet she has dedicated her life to promote Indian classical music in the West for over the last 30 years.
Mrs Maitreyee Sarcar HF, FRSA: Born: 12th Dec. 1949, Kolkata, West Bengal, India; married to Sistachar Sarcar on 9th Feb 1968 and migrated to UK on 13th March 1968. She is one of the legends of Indian classical musician, who devoted their whole life to explore our Indian classical music on the world. Maitreyee was also a board member of the Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton [2004 - 2010].

Maitreyee was elected an Hon Fellow of the University of Wolverhampton in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Surdhwani, Society for Promotion of Asian Arts & Culture on 9 September 2002; she was elected an FRSA [Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts] for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce on 12 December 2005; She received a Special Award on the International Women’s Day Celebrations given by Women of Wolverhampton at the Civic Hall, Wolverhampton for her outstanding voluntary contributions to Surdhwani for over 19 years on 6th March 2006. Received “Glory of India” award from the IIFS (Indian International Friendship Society) in recognition of her excellence in being proactive and instrumental in strengthening the Indo-British ties on 28 June 2008. Maitreyee was Nominated as “Woman of the Year 2008” for her outstanding cultural work for over 21 years, on 13 October 2008. She received the “Gem of India Award” & Certificate of Excellence, from IIFS on 17 May 2009. Maitreyee was also nominated as an Ambassador of Peace by United Minds for Peace Society [UMFPS]; was appointed as an Executive Committee member of UMFPS, UK, on 28 May 2009. On 14 Feb 2010 at Kalamandir, Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata, Maitreyee received the World Peace Music Promoter Award for her significant contributions in promoting Indian classical music in the European countries. Her efforts have been cited as an illustrious contribution towards World Peace through Music over the last thirty years.
Maitreyee has been presenting and promoting Indian classical music unofficially since March 1973 and officially since February 1987 in the West. She has been the Co-Producer and Co-Presenter of Surtarang [Wave of Melody] Broadcast since 4 April 2007. She is committed to making a difference and she thinks that with God's grace she has been able to make a difference in peoples' lives in the city of Wolverhampton where she lives with regards to their cultural lives.
