Scope of Tourism in Nangal
Nangal Dam is a small city situated in Punjab State of its District Ropar. Its far around 21 Km from Anand Pur Sahab.
Nangal Dam is also famously known as Mini Chandigarh, Nangal Town Ship, Nangal and Nangal Dam. If we are talking about the Scope of Nangal then its just thinking for Tourism in Nangal. City is surrounded between Shivalik Hills, there are very famous places near to Nangal when we Get Inside Nangal we see there is Tourist Help center. These persons provide every kind of information related to Tourist places of Nangal viz. Rivers, Dams, View, Religious Places of Nangal and Its Surrounding areas.
I love to go Laxmi Narayan Mandir situated near Cricket Ground. Its easy to reach there as Transportation is no problem at this place one can use Cycle-Rickshaw, Auto-Rickshaw [is less famous here], A local bus is also available. A one more religious place which is famous and attraction of tourist as its has history Jalfa Mata Mandir. Its situated in the range of Nikku Nangal [a village from name where Nangal came]. There are two ways to reach this temple one is via Nikku Nangal and another is via Village Humbeaal. I really missed my childhood days, spent there.
Apart from above, Bhakra Dam, Nangal Dam, Nangal Canal, Sutlej River are main attraction point of tourism. If one can start thinking there are many places where we can start tourism in Nangal.
Trust me just visit Nangal. There are many ways to reach Nangal.:
Via Road : You can visit from NH-1 to NH-21
Via Railways : From New Delhi Himachal Express is the greatest Train for the Journey
Via Air : Reach to Chandigarh and then take a root of NH-21.
